Inspired by Hermann Hesse's novel Siddhartha. Originally written in 1922, this novel explored Siddhartha's journey as he struggled to see beyond the illusions of the world and gain enlightenment. The river is a central theme that symbolizes both the journey toward enlightenment and the realization of enlightenment itself.
"...the river is everywhere at once, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the rapids, in the sea, in the mountains, everywhere at once, and that there is only the present time for it, not the shadow of the past, not the shadow of the future."
Our combination yoga mats are 24" wide x 72" tall. These premium mats combine a soft and absorbent, microfiber blend top fused to a 0.25" thick bottom made from natural rubber. The top of the mat has the image printed on it, and the back is solid black with textured dimples for better floor grip. Excellent as added cushion beneath a sticky mat, a comfortable surface for yoga nidra, or used alone for a variety of practices.
